Just Because It’s Big Doesn’t Mean Every Part Of It Is Liked By Google

You create a web page on a big portal site, let’s say Tumblr. You can’t imagine how it won’t be picked up by a search engine soon but did you know years can go by without Google indexing your property? That just shows how dependent visibility can be on links and citations. A small enough property can be just an orphaned page on the Internet and there are over a trillion pages so finding yours is more complex than you may have thought.

Why does this happen? No or minimal connectivity. It’s just some tiny page not cited or even linked to. They’re all over the Internet and yours could be one of them.

Seen by no one. Except you.
